BioWare has unveiled the Mass Effect Trilogy, a compilation of all three Mass Effect games in one box. The all-in-one game will be available for $59.99 on November 6, 2012, just in time for the holiday season.
The trilogy will follow the rise of Commander Shepard from Alliance Marine to become the leader in an all-out galactic war against the Reapers. BioWare hasn't said if the Extended Cut ending will be included on-disc, but we are waiting to hear back from them.
Coinciding with the launch of Mass Effect Trilogy, BioWare will kick off the first annual "N7 Day", a worldwide celebration of the Mass Effect franchise. This will fittingly take place on November 7, 2012.
The Mass Effect Trilogy will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC on November 6. It will arrive on PS3 at a later date, though this will be the first time the original Mass Effect game — the one that started it all — will be playable on the PlayStation 3 console. In addition to the trilogy, the original Mass Effect game will be available digitally as a standalone title via the PlayStation Network.
