Masters of the Universe was a camp-filled adventure of a movie in 1987. It was actually supposed to have a sequel, but unsurprisingly, it never spawned one. Well, we might finally have a chance to see the loincloth wearing hero once more.
Skeletor, He-Man and the gang of Eternia are apparently coming back in 2019 with a Masters of the Universe reboot. The previous director is no longer on board for the movie, but David S. Goyer (Blade, Batman Begins) is currently writing the script. Masters of the Universe seems to be something stuck in the 80s, which isn't a bad thing, but could it possibly translate to today's movie-goers?
Apparently, we'll find out December 18, 2019. We'd really like to know who's playing He-Man though.
