In celebration of today's launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Revolution, the first DLC pack to release for the game, Activision and Treyarch will be holding a Grudge Match between baseball superstars Matt Cain and Evan Longoria. Matt Cain, of course, is the star pitcher for the San Francisco Giants, while Evan Longoria of the Tampa Bay Rays is one of the premiere third basemen in the Major Leagues.
However, in this competition, their on-the-field talents won't make a lick of difference. The two players will each captain a separate team featuring development team members, online personalities, and fans in a head-to-head battle. You'll be able to review highlights of this grudge match on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Facebook page, where the studio is currently fielding questions you may have for these superstars. The grudge match is set to begin at 2:00pm PT and will last until 4:00pm PT.
The Revolution DLC is currently only available on Xbox 360 thanks to an exclusive timing agreement between Microsoft and Activision. The DLC includes four new multiplayer maps, a new Zombie co-op mode, a separate mode that lets you play as a zombie, and a brand new weapon.
