I have more hair than Matt Damon. I'll probably never be able to say that again, but right now I can. Matt Damon has shaved his head for the upcoming science-fiction movie Elysium. In addition to sporting a shaved head, Damon is also wielding a giant rifle with 'chemrail' written on the side, and he has a sort of robo-tech arm brace. Needless to say, he looks like a complete badass.
Elysium is the first movie for director Neill Blomkamp since District 9, and it stars Matt Damon and Jodie Foster. Set in a dystopian future in the year 2159 where the rich and wealthy live on a pristine space station called Elysium, while the rest of humankind waste away on a ruined Earth, Damon is on a mission that could potentially bring equality between the rich and those trying to immigrate to Elysium.
The first official footage is set to show at Comic-Con next week. Elysium has a tentative release date of March 1, 2013.
