May’s PS Plus games revealed for Europe: Stick it to the Man for PS4, Puppeteer & Payday 2 for PS3

Sony Europe has revealed next month's slew of PlayStation Plus free games. Though Sony America hasn't yet announced our lineup of free games, the two sometimes overlap, especially in the case of PlayStation 4's free games. So it's quite possible we could see some of the same games for free over here. Here's what Sony has planned for Europe in May.

Stick it to the Man – PS4

For the PlayStation 4, Europe will be getting Stick it to the Man for free. Developed by Zoink!, Stick it to the Man is a humorous platforming adventure game. In it, you play as Ray, who awakes from a coma in a strange world with a giant pink spaghetti arm sticking out of his brain. Aside from the weird look, this arm gives him awesome powers, allowing him to change the world around him by folding it, tearing it, pulling stickers off and sticking them elsewhere.

Puppeteer & Payday 2 – PS3

PlayStation 3 owners in Europe will be treated to two games: Japan Studio's Puppeteer and Overkill's Payday 2.

Puppeteer is another uniquely themed game that delivers a "magical fairy tale experience with a sinister backdrop all played out in a theatrical world where the environment is constantly chaning." You take ont he role of a young boy named Kutaro who is carried away by the evil Moon Bear King to a black castle and is transformed into a puppet. Armed with a special pair of scissors that he finds, he sets off on an adventure to head home.

Payday 2 is an action-packed, four-player co-op shooter that sees the return of Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf, and Chains, as they descend on Washington DC for an epic crime spree. The new CRIMENET network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts and players are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to major league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults for that epic payday.

Muramasa Rebirth & Everybody's Golf – PS Vita

Lastly, Vita owners will also be getting two games: Muramasa Rebirth and Everybody's Golf.

Muramasa Rebirth is a port of Vanillaware's classic side-scrolling action-RPG. "Immersive, stylish, and full of action, Muramasa Rebirth’s twin campaigns, multiple endings, hidden Demon Swords, massive exploration and other optional goodies should be enough to keep you busy for a good long while," Sony says.

And finally, Everybody's Golf will also be free. Making full use of Vita's rear touch pad functionality and the intuitive touchscreen controls, Everybody's Golf allows you to plot your way around teh course to achieve that low score.

Again, these games are only announced for PlayStation Plus in Europe. It's possible that a few games could overlap, like Stick it to the Man, but we're still waiting for the Sony America to make their announcement. I can say with confidence that we won't be getting Payday 2 as that was February's free PS Plus game.
