Maybe if we had beta date for PlanetSide 2 on PS4, SOE wouldn’t get such mean tweets

The internet is a cruel, cruel place. It's especially cruel for SOE developers, particularly those working on PlanetSide 2.

Now I sat in on the PlanetSide 2 keynote at SOE Live last weekend. This game has some passionate, rowdy fans. Unfortunately, sometimes that passion gets channeled in the wrong kind of way. The result is a series of hilariously mean tweets.

Hey, this is the kind of thing that happens when you don't give players a PS4 beta date. Amirite!?

In all honesty, it's nice to see SOE roll with the punches. Seriously though, developers are people too. They have hearts. Except for Senior Game Designer Luke Sigmund — pretty sure his chest is empty. I only say this because when I interviewed him he refused to tell me the beta date for PlanetSide 2 on PS4. He wouldn't even tell me what percentage complete the game was. Only joking; but seriously though, PS4 release date. Make it happen.
