Season three of Rick and Morty brought a serious need for McDonald's to bring back the limited edition Szechuan Sauce from 1998. Back then, McDonald's was running a promotion for Disney's Mulan where they created a new McNugget sauce – that sauce was limited to the promotion and never sold again. Well, At least until a recent PR stunt from McDonald's brought it back.
Rick, of Rick and Morty, brought back the insatiable need for Szechuan Sauce, so, McDonald's brought it back on October 7th – except they didn't bring enough. The lack of Szechuan Sauce created an angry mob of people chanting 'we want sauce' at one McDonald's.
The Szechuan Sauce betrayal will never happen again. McDonald's has announced that they are doubling down on this PR stunt and doing it again – this time with more Szechuan Sauce.

TL;DR: McDonald's is bringing back Szechuan Sauce this winter and it won't be as limited as before. No dates have been revealed and the period of time the sauce will be available has also not been revealed. It's just one giant tease to get you back in McDonald's for more Szechuan Sauce.
Rick and Morty has created a monster. A giant Szechuan Sauce flavored monster. You can bet that one person that bought the sauce for almost $15,000 now knows the flavor of regret (it's Szechuan flavored if you didn't get it). Oh, and those new eBay scammers asking for $20K are going to be upset when they hear this news.
