Sony is chugging along with its 'Masters of the Universe' reboot, and the studio may have finally found the person to lead it — Joseph McGinty Nichol (McG).
Not much is known about Sony's Masters of the Universe reboot, except that Thor: Ragnorak writer Christopher Yost is onboad to pen the screenplay. Similar to the 1987 version, starring Dolph Lundgren as He-Man and Frank Langella as Skeletor, the reboot is said to be "set on the planet of Eternia, the story follows a warrior named Prince Adam who has the power to transform into the heroic He-Man. His nemesis is a villain named Skeletor who seeks to conquer a fortress known as Castle Grayskull in order to learn the secrets held within."
The 1987 version wasn't exactly met with the best reception, but maybe second time's a charm. Stick to GameZone for further updates.
