Meat Boy takes his bloody arse to Retro City Rampage

Most folks already knew about the Splosion Man cameo in Retro City Rampage, but there's another indie hero making his way to Brian Provinciano's upcoming 8-bit throwback: Meat Boy!

That's right, Team Meat's skinless protagonist will appear in Retro City Rampage. A mini-game titled Virtual Meat Boy will be playable in-game, and it will feature beautiful (read: horrifying) Virtual Boy visuals. If you've got some old school 3D glasses, be sure to whip those suckers out and experience the brilliance of Virtual Meat Boy in stereoscopic 3D! The future of gaming is here!

CommanderVideo of Bit.Trip fame is also slated to make an appearance in Retro City Rampage. Provinciano will be showing off that interesting gameplay at E3 next week. I can't wait to play the game for myself!

Retro City Rampage is currently undergoing some bug fixes, but Provinciano hopes to get the game out soon. Too much excitement! Aaarrrghhh!
