Medal of Honor: Warfighter's newest map pack, based on Sony Picture Entertainment's new film, Zero Dark Thirty, has been released for PC players. Now available on Origin.com, the Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack includes two new multiplayer maps inspired by two of the most dangerous locations in the world — Darra and Chitral.
The Darra Gun Market is based on Pakistan's flourishing arms bazaar, which also happens to be the largest illegal arms market in the world. The second map, Chitral Compound, is described as a "remote, rugged area governed by tribes which won't allow the Pakistani army to operate." The map pack also includes six new weapon configurations, 14 new weapon camouflage skins, and 10 new multiplayer ranks.
The Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack is being released in conjunction with Sony Pictures Entertainment's new film based on the hunt for Osama bin Laden. The film was directed and produced by Kathryn Bigelow and written and produced by Mark Boal.
EA will be donating $1 from each Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack sold to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation through March 19, 2014 as part of its overall Project HONOR charitable donation commitment of a minimum of $1 million.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter Zero Dark Thirty is now available on the Xbox 360, PS3, and now PC. Those who previously purchased the Limited Edition of Warfighter should be able to download the Map Pack at no extra cost. For those who haven't, you can purchase it now for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.
