Meet Takkar, our fearless leader in Far Cry Primal

Far Cry Primal, the next installment in Ubisoft's popular Far Cry series, is set to release next month. In anticipation of the game's release, Ubisoft has released a new trailer, giving us more insight into the game's main character, Takkar.

"In the face of deadly predators and even deadlier foes, the hunter Takkar comes to Oros to help the Wenja people rise above extinction," Ubisoft teases before the trailer dives into a clip of Takkar drinking eyeballs and blood out of a cup — a pretty standard ritual in the Stone Age, I guess.

The trailer also gives us some background, revealing that Takkar's tribe, the Oros, will be facing a ruthless leader Ull.

We recently went hands-on with Far Cry Primal. You can read our full impressions here.

Far Cry Primal will release on February 23rd on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while PC users have to wait until March 1st.
