Fans were initially bummed out when the Nintendo Switch released that Capcom wouldn't be supporting it with the Mega Man re-releases. It's such a perfect place for the iconic side-scroller, it just seems like such a dumb decision not to bring it to the handheld! Luckily, Capcom realized the potential for the system and announced today that a plethora of Mega Man games are making their way to the console.
Both Mega Man Legacy Collections will hit the Switch in 2018, meaning Mega Man 1 – 10 will be on the console and on top of that, Capcom is also bringing all 8 Mega Man X games to the system (will also be on Xbox One, PS4, and PC too). There were no specific dates given but there's a Nintendo Direct slotted for January where we'll likely hear more about them.
To cap it all off, Capcom also dropped a bombshell: Mega Man 11 is finally releasing in 2018 and it will be on all current-gen platforms, including Nintendo Switch.
