Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo returning for limited-time release

Toys-R-Us today announced via Twitter that the coveted Mega Yarn Yoshi plush amiibo will return for a short-print sale later this month.

The 8-inch figure will go on sale Sunday, March 20 in “extremely limited” quantities. Toys-R-Us did not specify a price, but it’s safe to assume the previous price point of $40 hasn’t changed.

Yarn Yoshi figures originally released alongside Yoshi’s Woolly World, in both a normal and large variant. In November 2015, the smaller version was unbundled and sold individually, and like its larger counterpart, quickly sold out.

The larger Mega Yarn Yoshi figure is every bit as collectible and adorable as its itsy-bitsy counterpart, and just as rare. Expect the next shipment to disappear as quickly as previous waves.
