Melissa McCarthy as a Spy? Cue laughter

Forget James Bond. Step aside Ethan Hunt. Sorry Jason Bourne. There's a new spy in town and her name is… Susan Cooper? Sorry, her cover is Honey Morgan, divorced housewife from Iowa.

Paul Feig's latest comedy, Spy, stars Melissa McCarthy as the CIA's best analyst who is thrust into the field to go undercover and infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, thus preventing a global disaster. It stars Jason Statham, Rose Byrne and Jude Law, and it looks really funny. I'm confident in declaring that Feig and McCarthy have done it again.

You can watch the trailer right here, but if you want to see McCarthy and everyone else as they'll really be in the movie — complete with potty mouths and the word 't**t', watch the Spy Red Band trailer. Spy is in theaters on May 22, 2015.

Now if Feig could get McCarthy to star in the Ghostbusters​ reboot he's directing
