If you were wondering who the smartly dressed Tao Okamoto would be playing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, well it has been officially revealed to be Mercy Graves. Okamoto wasn't a big focus of the film's trailer, but she does make an appearance.
DC Comics' behind-the-scenes series DC All Access has confirmed that Okamoto will be playing Mercy Graves from Superman: The Animated Series, after Warner Bros.' insistence that her character was created specifically for the film.
If you are unfamiliar with Graves, she traditionally acts as Lex Luthor's bodyguard and personal assistant.
Okamoto is well known to comic book movie aficionados for playing Mariko in James Mangold’s The Wolverine. As for Wolverine, Hugh Jackman just teased the upcoming film with #OneLastTime. In other Batman v Superman news, some new images for the film were released, unfortunately Okamoto didn't make it into any of the images – her boss did though.
