While we aren't getting an announcement from game creator Hideo Kojima on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Konami has announced that they have resolved the 'Quiet Bug'. This bug had the potential to corrupt your game, so it's good to see a fix release in under a week since its discovery.
The bug has been patched out of PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game, which leaves Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players to remain wary of bringing Quiet along as a buddy on Mission 29 and/or Mission 42. If you're on a console that has yet to receive the patch and haven't made it through those chapters, here's how to navigate through those missions with Quiet (if you insist upon it, you could simply leave her behind).
You can bring Quiet along on those missions, as long as you use the Butterfly Emblem throughout the mission or by not allowing your Bond Level with Quiet to reach MAX during the mission.
Play safe!
