Since release, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain players have been dealing with some online issues. Konami addressed the issues by limiting online features, then by taking the online gameplay entirely offline to do some maintenance on it. Today, the servers are back up and should be running fine for everyone except for the people on one specific game consoleā¦
According to an update on Konami's Japanese website, the only platform that has yet to be fixed is the PlayStation 4. All PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC players should be able to access game servers and play online without any hitches.
Konami has offered a "sincere apology" for the game's difficulties connecting to online features. The developers will continue to keep an eye on servers and address fixes as need be. If you are unable to log in, but you're on a platform that isn't the PlayStation 4, try resetting the game. If that doesn't help you log in to online gameplay, Konami suggests enjoying the game's campaign.
