Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain to replace Batman: Arkham Knight in NVIDIA GPU bundle

In the beginning of May NVIDIA revealed two new GPU and game bundles for a number of their graphics cards. The games that were being bundled were The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Batman: Arkham Knight. It looks as though NVIDIA is ready to move on from Arkham Knight.

In a 'slip up,' online retailer Newegg posted that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be bundled with NVIDIA GPUs and that Arkham Knight is getting the boot.

An official Newegg Support member replied to the post saying, "Hi everyone! We had a little slip up and posted this deal ahead of schedule. It is not currently available, but stay tuned, it will be soon!" Arkham Knight was originally paired with the GeForce GTX 970 and GeForce GTX 980, it is unknown what cards will be paired with Phantom Pain.

Some individuals who recently purchased Arkham Knight bundled GPUs have contacted Newegg support looking to trade their copy of Arkham Knight for Phantom Pain and it worked. Seeing as how Arkham Knight won't be patched on PC until September – it seems like a good attempt to make yourself, if you find yourself in a similar position.
