‘Metal Gear Solid’ movie gets ‘Jurassic World’ writer

The last we heard about the Metal Gear Solid movie was that director Jordan Vogt-Roberts was tweaking the script in hopes of making it even more true to Hideo Kojima's vision of the game series. Now, the latest draft of the script will be managed by Derek Connolly, the writer of Jurassic World and the upcoming sequel.

Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts and Derek Connolly worked together before on Kong: Skull Island.

The Metal Gear movie has been in development for a long while now, but Vogt-Roberts has committed himself to making a Metal Gear Movie that would leave superfans saying "They did it. That’s my Metal Gear. That’s my shit."

We can only hope that the movie turns out to be amazing.
