Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain adds Ocelot as a playable character to FOB Missions

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is approaching its second birthday after quietly fading into obscurity following the ugly Kojima exit. Konami is apparently still making efforts to keep the game relevant via a new content update. This latest one is more significant than most since it brings a familiar character into the online arena of FOB mission. Players will be able to step into the shoes of Ocelot when tackling a Forward Operating Base per Konami's Patch Notes.

Here is Ocelot's description:

Ocelot is finally available in FOB missions !
You can play as Ocelot to infiltrate FOBs. You cannot change the uniform or the head option, but Ocelot has a slightly increased camouflage value, and he reloads and draws his weapons faster. He can use one pistol in each hand with the TORNADO-6. He can also use ricochet bullets on marked enemies.

Players can also expect some new functionality for the Wormhole generators, new swimsuits for the FOB staff and soldier outfits as well as some "minor updates."

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
