The Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain website was updated yesterday with a countdown clock, the clock was set to tick for 48 hours, teasing some kind of announcement for Wednesday, March 4th at 9AM EST. Things do not always work as planned.
IGN 'accidently' leaked a video that revealed the release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
The video has since been removed, but not before it was well documented by NeoGaf member Nibel — the one who originally reported the video's existence. Interestingly enough, while the video was removed — it has not altogether disappeared (thanks internet).
If this video is removed by time you reach the page, the official video will release tomorrow:
