Have you ever played Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and thought, "I wish chatter in this game was voiced by a rapper instead of a soldier." No? Oh… Well, you're getting it anyway because Method Man's voice is now an optional voice pack for the game.
Activision announced this in a press release stating the "American rapper, producer and actor dials up the intensity, updating you on killstreaks, enemy activity and adding some extra flavor to every MP firefight."
So why Method Man? If you clicked this article to learn why, we apologize because we don't know either, but it exists. There's also a new UK Special Forces voice pack featuring Craig Fairbrass as Ghost from Modern Warfare 2.
Both of these packs are available on PS4 and Xbox One. The Ghost Voice pack is free, but you can only be graced by Method Man's presence for $3.99.
“Infinite Warfare is all about customizing your multiplayer experience to suit the way you want to play,” said Dave Stohl, Studio Head of Infinity Ward.
Maybe Method Man isn't our thing, but it's cool that he made an appearance as a voice over for Call of Duty. Wonder who else will drop by the recording studio?
