With the holiday season bringing tons of video game sales, Metroid: Other M was on sale from $6.99 to $9.99 and the drop in price looks to have boosted sales for the struggling Metroid title bringing it over the one million mark.
Metroid: Other M is a new look on the Metroid series giving a back story to Samus Aran. The gameplay was also changed by giving it a 2D and 3D perspective harkening back to older games in the series. Metroid: Other M was released on August 31, 2010. [VGChartz]
