Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon on Nintendo Switch likely to release after 2018

Well...

After revealing the Nintendo Switch's Pokemon during E3 2017, Nintendo made sure to clarify that the game, along with the Switch's Metroid Prime 4, Yoshi, and Kirby, will be releasing in 2018 "and beyond."

After today's earnings call, Nintendo released some supplementary information detailing Nintendo's plans for the next year or so. This information included general release windows, which revealed that Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon probably won't be seeing the light of day in 2018.

According to the document, both Kirby and Yoshi for the Nintendo Switch will release in 2018, along with Fire Emblem for the Switch. As for Pokemon and Metroid Prime 4, the document doesn't specify 2018. For Pokemon, it's listed as a "2018 or later" release, which follows the "and beyond" which was previously mentioned. Metroid Prime 4 has been slapped with a 'TBA.'

At least we have a few other games to hold us over, like Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Pokken Tournament DX, Super Mario Odyssey and more!
