Early Access Metroidvania sensation Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is getting a massive new update. Players of the gorgeous platformer can look forward to the addition of two new stages and an overhauled UI come this November. Check out the new trailer to catch a glimpse of what’s to come below!
Heavily inspired by genre giant Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Team Ladybug’s newest jab at the pixel-art Metroidvania genre is a huge hit. At least among the thousands of players who are already playing the title on Steam Early Access since March.
With a very favorable 94% Positive User Reviews, Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is another homerun for the developer. Their first attempt at the genre, Touhou Luna Nights, was a huge hit last year and it looks like their new project is building on top of the excellent formula of action-packed platforming.
Deedlit awakens suddenly in a mysterious, unknown place.
Where am I? Why am I here?
With nobody around to respond, her questions are met with only silence.Seeking answers, Deed eventually sets off on foot, alone…
As with the majority of Early Access titles, Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth initial launch didn’t come with all the content. But that’s what the Early Access period is for. Learn what works and what doesn’t, and deliver according to the community’s wishes.
The new update planned for November is going to do exactly that. Bring two whole new stages to the game alongside a large redesign of the user interface. At a very nice entry price point of just $10.39 – currently with a 20% discount – it’s a good point to jump in Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth. As with every Early Access game, the price gets increased once the game exits Early Access.
