Mewtwo amiibo gets release date

In an announcement made on twitter, Nintendo of Europe has posted that the Mewtwo amiibo will release on October 23rd. It appears to be only a European release date for now as no confirmation of a North American date has been released. It comes on the heels of yesterday's announcement of the next wave of amiibo releasing this September 11th followed up a retro pack on the 25th.

Of course, we also are unaware if this will be exclusive to any specific retailer as Nintendo has been known to play sneaky with amiibo stock. We've reached out to Nintendo for clarification on a North American release date as well.
