Mia Wasikowska and Zoe Aggeliki against each other for Johanna in ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’

It looks like the part of Johanna Mason in Catching Fire, the sequel to The Hunger Games, could be between Mia Wasikowska and actress-model Zoe Aggeliki.

According to The Playlist, both Wasikowksa and Aggeliki are "in the mix" for the part of Johanna. Mia Wasikowska is best known for her parts in Alice in Wonderland and The Kids Are All Right. Meanwhile Zoe Aggeliki has roles in upcoming films R.I.P.D.and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.

For those who haven't read the books, I do have to *Spoil* a few things for you to understand who Johanna is. First off, Catching Fire sees Katniss return to the Hunger Games. Johanna is a fierce competitor who begrudgingly becomes Katniss' ally for reasons you'll have to wait to see. With no family and friends left in District 7 and her weapon of choice being an axe, Johanna proves to be a strong ally of Katniss in Catching Fire and beyond into the third book, Mockingjay.

Reports add that both actresses have been in discussions for the part, but Aggeliki could officially sign in only a matter of days. With production of the sequel set to begin immanently, we should hear very soon. Catching Fire is set to hit theaters November 22, 2013.

For the record, Johanna is described as having wide-set brown eyes with spiky brown hair, muscular, and tan. Let's hope whoever is casted doesn't have to put up the crap Amanda Stenberg had to as Rue.
