Micro Machines World Series announced for Xbox One, PS4, PC

If it doesn't say Micro Machines, it's not the real thing

Codemasters will be bringing its Micro Machines game franchise to PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Summer.

Discovered by Xbox Achievements, the game will release in July on all associated platforms. There are no official details on the game and only one box art image was released. It's most likely the game will use top-down racing and insane weapons just like the original versions.

There have been seven Micro Machines games released, with the most recent console version being Toy Box Turbos.  Although free to play, the game features in-app purchases allowing players to speed up progress by purchasing coins and gems, which in turn are used to buy additional parts for a variety of cars, ranging from transportation such as buses and taxis to rally cars, military vehicles, and construction equipment. Players can also join a club of other racers and compete with other clubs for weekly rewards.

If anything, it would most likely be a super-sized version of this game, which was also released on Ios this past Summer. We'll let you know when more information is released, but for now Micro Machines World Series should release in July.
