Earlier this year, Microsoft's Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, assured fans that Halo 5: Guardians would not see the disasterous release that Halo: The Master Chief Collection saw, and luckily enough for Halo fans – Halo 5's release wasn't too bad.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the release of Halo: Reach on the Xbox One through backward compatibility. In theory, Halo: Reach should be running at a consistent frame rate with a bit of higher resolution.
Players have been reporting that Halo: Reach has been suffering frame rate issues that, in their opinion, has left the game unplayable. According to Microsoft, developers are working on a fix for the frame rate issues. “We’re aware some users are experiencing issues playing Halo: Reach via Xbox One Backward Compatibility,” a Microsoft spokeperson told Kotaku. “The Xbox engineering team is currently looking into the issues and are working to address them.”
Hopefully the fix comes quickly for everyone looking to play.
