It wasn't long ago when Tsunoda was quoted saying that the Xbox One had a lot more going for it than their competitor (the PS4) thanks to PC cross-play. Tsunoda has been passionately speaking about the Xbox One again, this time outright saying that there's no beating the Xbox One and the exclusive lineup of games and features headed its way.
Speaking with the Official Xbox Magazine Tsunoda opened up about the Xbox One's future potential, and he was pretty optimistic about it.
"I mean, it’s really amazing – I think if you look at our competition there’s no way that people can really stack up with our exclusive content, and that’s an amazing part of what we’re doing at Xbox."
Tsunoda doesn't simply believe that exclusive games will keep the Xbox One growing, the variety of what they're offering adds a whole new element to the console. One of the key things that Microsoft does is listen to their community.
I think our exclusive content, the variety of gameplay that we’re able to provide people on xbox, and then of course, the high value that comes with enabling things like backward compatibility and listening to our fans – I just think that’s where Xbox really shines.
Since its reveal the Xbox One has changed, Microsoft knew what they had to do to survive — and they did just that. The way Tsunoda speaks shows he's extremely passionate about the console he's helping shape, but he does have a solid point. It's not a point that he outright makes, but one he insinuates – the Xbox One has a solid plan for the future (games/PC/features) and they have made it very clear of what their plans are to the community. Having a plan can offer a feeling of comfort (you can always depend on free PS Plus games from Sony and that's nice).
I'm conflicted.
Then again, what do I know – I'm on the all-in-one always-connected PC.
