There's no doubt that Sony has done a much better job than Microsoft in getting the message across when it comes to supporting indie developers and games on its console. So to fix that, Microsoft is inviting PAX Prime attendees to its campus in Redmond, Washington to come check out over 25 ID@Xbox titles coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 within the next 12 months.
"With tons of ID@Xbox titles coming in the next 12 months from some amazing independent developers, we simply couldn’t fit them all in the Xbox booth. So we decided to give them their own event, and you’re invited," Microsoft's Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb announced.
The event will be held on Thursday, August 28 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm in Microsoft Building 92. It's open to fans 18 years and older, but if you are under 18 then you can still get in with a parent or guardian.
If you don't have a car — as I suspect many attending PAX won't — then you'll be happy to know that Microsoft is shuttling people over to the campus in the awesome Sunset Overdrive bus. Two shuttle times are scheduled, picking up fans from the Seattle Convention Center area at 4:30pm and 6:30pm, and returning to the Convention Center at 8:00pm and 9:30pm. Unfortunately, the bus has limited capacity, so it'll be a first-come, first-served basis. If you do happen to have a car, you can park on-site.
