Microsoft mistakenly prices Minecraft: Xbox One Edition at $199.99

Want to play Minecraft on Xbox One? Willing to pay $199.99 for it?

I didn't think so.

In a hilarious mixup, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, which is set to release tomorrow, was mistakenly priced at a jaw-dropping $199.99 for a limited time on the Xbox One store. The listing has since been removed, but not before some eagle-eyed gamers took notice, spreading photos of the outrageous price.

Microsoft has already confirmed Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will be priced at $19.99 when released, with an option for Xbox 360 Edition users to upgrade for $4.99. For its part, developer 4J Studios assumed Microsoft was simply running tests "that shouldn't have been visible," but I'm thinking this was just a simple mistake — pretty amazing what one decimal place will result it.
