Microsoft promises Fable Legends news in coming weeks

Originally billed as one of Microsoft's big fall titles, the silence surrounding Fable Legends has been quite the mystery. Pressed for details by Game Informer, Microsoft has assured more information regarding the multiplayer-focused RPG will be shared "in the coming weeks" — perhaps at the start of the new year, though that's just my own speculation.

“As a service-based title in closed beta, we’re always working to make sure that when we open ‘Fable Legends’ to everyone, that it’s a great gameplay experience,” a Microsoft representative told Game Informer. “We are continuing to expand our closed beta and will have more details to share in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!”

Fable Legends is planned as a free-to-play title with Xbox One and Windows 10 cross-play.
