Microsoft relinquishes Blinx trademark

The internet might not be able to get enough of cats, but Microsoft certainly can and did — if you judge it by their recent abandonment of Blinx.

The anthropomorphic cat will not be making a return on Microsoft's terms. Blinx might have been considered an overrated game, but let's be honest, the site that called it that shut down before Blinx was abandoned…so who's laughing now? (No one)

Blinx first saw the light of day in 2002 when it released on the original Xbox as Blinx: The Time Sweeper. The game itself wasn't celebrated as stellar, but it was considered average – which is better than bad. So, we wave farewell to a game held fondly in our memories, but we can continue to have hope in the resurrection of other forgotten (but not yet abandoned) games.

What games would you like to see resurrected?
