Microsoft’s E3 2014 will, again, focus on games

Microsoft's E3 2013 conference was one of the company's better ones, in my opinion. Save for a few technical glitches, Microsoft's focus on games for the Xbox One was a welcomed change from its typical emphasis on the system's overall "home entertainment" features. This year's conference looks to be on the same track.

Speaking to fans on Twitter, Microsoft Game Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer revealed that this year's E3 will, again, focus on games. It'll also be 90 minutes in lengthy with "few [executives]." If true, I look forward to hearing more from the guys who actually make the games then the stiffs in suits who sell them.

At last year's E3, Microsoft revealed Sunset Overdrive, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, among other things. They also teased a new Halo for Xbox One, though little has been said of the game since then.
