Microsoft has begun sending invites out to its E3 press briefing. Although the company will unveil the next-generation Xbox three weeks prior at a special event on May 21st, it's assumed the E3 conference will continue the reveal. Not much was revealed through the invitation except that the media briefing will be hosted at the Galen Center on Monday, June 10.
Microsoft is the first of the three major platform holders to announce their E3 conference. Nintendo, of course, will not be hosting a press conference of their own, instead relying on a more direct video broadcast — presumably similar to what they conduct with their Nintendo Direct broadcasts. Nintendo will have presence on the E3 show floor, however. Sony has not yet announced its E3 plans, though we recently contacted them to see what's up.
E3 will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 11-13. As always, it's open only to members of the gaming media.
