Not to be outdone by this week's launch of the PlayStation 4, Microsoft is continuing to roll out Xbox One videos and trailers. The latest video shows off the system's Snap functionality.
Xbox Snap, the ability to multitask on the Xbox One by splitting your screen into two halves and running two apps at once, has been the subject of much debate lately. Looking to clear the air once and for all, Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi demonstrates just how quick the Xbox One responds to the Snap feature.
While impressive, I do have some concerns regarding the switching back and forth. You'll notice every time you launch a new app in the side the game pauses. While this shouldn't affect single player games, I wonder how the Xbox One will handle this in multiplayer. I'd hate to see my teammate killed in a game because he chose to pull up the latest NFL game. Just a minor gripe though; the actual functionality is pretty damn sweet.
