Microsoft to stream Gamescom through Xbox Live

Before Microsoft took to the stage at E3 2015, they warned their fans that there would be a number of Xbox One games that wouldn't be shown off during the event. Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound were marked off as no shows for June's Event, but were promised to make an appearance at Gamescom in August – along with new game reveals.

Xbox Head Phil Spencer assured fans that, "titles like Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound will be front and center at Gamescom along with new game reveals for both Xbox One and Windows 10.” The lack of presence at E3 for these games was marked by Microsoft's heavy lineup.

With Gamescom around the corner Microsoft has revealed that they will be streaming the event through Xbox Live starting August 4th at 4:00 p.m. CEST (10:00 a.m. EDT). There will be a number of hosts, including guest stars and industry elites: Larry Hryb, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, Graeme Boyd, Xbox Live’s AceyBongos, and Julia Hardy.

During E3 2015 two new Xbox One games were revealed, Sea of Thieves and ReCore. These two titles will more than likely make some kind of appearance at Gamescom. The Xbox Wire has more details on the event.

Gamescom takes place August 6 to 9.
