Microsoft unveils Xbox-based video series about street soccer

Xbox Entertainment Studios has greenlighted a new unscripted video series about street soccer.

The series, called Every Street United, is undoubtedly part of Microsoft's effort to focus more on sports with an all-in-one living room experience. Sports got a lot of attention from Microsoft this year with its reveal of the Xbox One.

Every Street United comes from production company Mandalay Sports Media. Eight episodes are planned, each lasting a half-hour and spotlighting different street soccer players from around the world. The final episode will allegedly be shot at the 2014 World Cup, according to Deadline.

The series will also indirectly tie back to video games. Details are still incoming.
