As the last of 2015's blockbusters release this month, it's time to begin looking ahead to 2016. And one of the highlights of next year is the release of Comcept's Mighty No. 9, a side-scrolling action game from the brilliant Keiji Inafune (creator of Mega Man).
It's no secret that Mighty No. 9 is heavily inspired by Inafune's Mega Man, and the game closely resembles it in both gameplay and character design. Today's trailer highlights some of the co-op and competitive multiplayer game modes you'll find in Mighty No. 9:
"Face off against all the Mighties back to back in Boss Rush, test your 2D side-scrolling skills in the challenge mode, or overcome all the odds in the one-hit death maniac mode! Team up or face off against a friend online in Co-op challenges and fierce races through the main levels."
Mighty No. 9 is set to arrive on February 9, 2016 for Xbox One, PS4, and Wii U. You can check out our impressions of the game from TwitchCon here.
