Minecraft adds holiday cheer with ‘Festive Mash-Up Pack’

4J Studios is adding some holiday cheer to your worlds in Minecraft with the new Festive Mash-Up Pack. Available this Wednesday, December 10 for $2.99, the Festive Mash-Up Pack includes all sorts of holiday-themed textures including bright, obnoxious Christmas lights. Also included are 36 new holiday skins and festive new music by C418.

The Festive Mash-Up Pack will be available this Wednesday for Minecraft on Xbox One and Xbox 360. It is said to be coming to other platforms "soon."

With Microsoft having purchased Mojang and their IP Minecraft earlier this year, this sort of Xbox timed exclusivity should be expected moving forward.
