Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is a hit, you guys. Not only has the game surpassed one million sales, breaking Xbox Live Arcade records in the process, but gamers are really praising the experience. Hell, the GameZone team just loves digging into the world of Minecraft and streaming their adventures online.
Currently, 4J Studios, which co-developed Minecraft for the Xbox 360 with original developer Mojang, is working on update 1.7.3. This new update will add pistons, and that's certainly great, but the major reveal from the studio was that the famed Minecraft Adventure Update would be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade version of the game.
"This is going to be the most difficult update due to the sheer amount of changes, and also the underlying architecture changes that come with it," said Paddy Burns of 4J Studios. "We're looking forward to the challenge!"
No word on when the Adventure Update would go live, and given the fact that Burns stated it would be a daunting task, it would be foolish for anyone to expect it in the near future. Be ready, though, because it's going to happen.
