Minecraft now coming to PS4, PS3, and Vita

Hit "indie" game Minecraft was long believed to be an exclusive for Microsoft's Xbox consoles. Turns out, Sony was in talks with creator Markus 'Notch' Persson and the folks over at Mojang to bring the popular sandbox title to PlayStation consoles as well.

Sony announced today that Minecraft will be available on PlayStation 4, with Persson later clarifying that it will also be released on PS3 and Vita as well.

With Minecraft already conquering PC and Xbox 360 (and soon Xbox One), PlayStation was the next logical step.
