Minecraft: Pocket Edition arrives on Windows Phone

Windows Phone owners can finally enjoy the phenomenon that is Minecraft. As announced by Microsoft yesterday, Minecraft: Pocket Edition — the mobile version of Mojang's hit PC sandbox adventure game — is now available on Windows Phone, allowing players to bring their Minecraft worlds virtually anywhere.

Minecraft: Pocket Edition includes Minecraft's signature Survival and Creative modes. With a local Wi-Fi network, players can enjoy multiplayer gameplay and team up with friends to explore the world's biomes, fight monsters, and craft together.

Minecraft: Pocket Edition can download on Windows Phone for $6.99.
