Project Scorpio, as many of us know by now, is set to be released this holiday season. Once E3 hits in June, we'll know a lot more about the console itself. But that doesn't mean there's no Scorpio news before the event.
We've learned that Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition will be one of the 4K titles on Project Scorpio. It will utilize the Universal Windows Platform, which means Minecraft on Scorpio will be part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program. This allows users to pay for the game once and play it on Xbox One and PC.
It's unclear what's to happen with Minecraft: Xbox One Edition as far as further updates are concerned, but it's likely to continue, as Minecraft is put on other systems regularly.
Minecraft joins the first-party 4K titles planned for Scorpio, along with the rumored Forza Motorsport 7. More Scorpio news is set to hit on June 11, so stay tuned to GameZone for up-to-the-minute news.
