Last week Mojang revealed that Minecraft: Story Mode would not be ending with Episode 5 'Order Up.' While Episode 5 was widely believed to mark the end of the game, three additional episodes will be released for the game.
Episodes 6, 7, and 8 have not been named or dated for release, but they have been detailed to be available to anyone who has purchased at least one episode of Minecraft: Story Mode. The additional episodes will not be trated as proper Minecraft: Story Mode episodes, instead they will be considered add-ons to the series.
With the announcement of the additional episodes, a new Season Pass has been available for purchase. As the name suggests, the 'Adventure Pass (Additional Episodes 6-8)' will only cover the additional episodes.
The pass is now available on the Xbox Store for $14.99.
Episode 5 of Minecraft: Story Mode is available to download on PC/Mac, Windows 10, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and iOS and Android-based devices today.
