Mirror’s Edge Catalyst officially delayed

Gives you more time to finish Fallout 4.

It's safe to say that since the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have been released we have seen plenty of delays. A majority of these delays have been due to 'ambitious visions' that the developers have for the game, these ambitions are typically what make the game great (think of the Uncharted 4 and Witcher 3 delays) – so we really can't complain too much.

DICE's Mirror's Edge Catalyst can be officially added to the list of delayed games. Sara Jansson, the Senior Producer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst, took to the game's official site to reveal the new release date for Catalyst and an explanation for the delay.

According to Jansson, the Catalyst was delayed because the developer's ambitious vision for the game couldn't be met by the original February 23, 2016 release date. In order for DICE to meet their expectations and give players the best experience possible, the release date had to be moved back. The delay will give them a couple extra months to polish the game's expansive environment, combat and story.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst will release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 24, 2016.
