Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation stunt featurette shows Tom Cruise has no fear

A Q&A session with the Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation director Christopher McQuarrie revealed that the super-realistic looking stunt that has Tom Cruise hanging on to the side of an airplane was inspired by the stunt pulled by Nathan Drake in Uncharted 3.

Now, we say the Tom Cruise scene looks realistic and that's because it is very realistic… Cruise did the stunt himself, strapped to a plane.

A behind-the-scenes featurette from the upcoming Mission: Impossible film revealed two things: Cruise has massive balls and he did the stunt eight times. That's right folks, he was hanging off of a plane that took off and landed eight times. If anything went wrong, Cruise wouldn't have been able to enter the plane at all. If he looks afraid during the scene it's because he was "scared sh*tless."
