Modern Warfare 3 Overwatch DLC now available for Xbox 360

Paid Call of Duty Elite members are now able to download the new Modern Warfare 3 Overwatch DLC for Xbox 360.  Available early only for Xbox 360 premium subscribers, the Overwatch DLC includes the new "Overwatch" map, which drops you into a construction site atop a New York City Skyscraper.

"The battle takes place along two levels in a near symmetrical layout, with the central bridge and side routes open to attack from multiple angles. Watch your every step, as a lack of safety barriers surrounding the perimeter leaves nothing between you and a 70 story fall to the ground below," Activision said of the new map.

Modern Warfare 3 DLC is a timed exclusive for Xbox 360, meaning PS3 and PC gamers will have to wait at least another month before they get this high-rise, high-risk map.

Overwatch is the third map released for Modern Warfare 3 Elite members, following last month's release of the Liberation and Piazza maps for Xbox 360.  PS3 premium Elite members will be getting those first two drops on February 28th.  Overwatch has not yet been dated for the PS3.

Non-Elite subscribers will be able to buy the first collection of Modern Warfare 3 DLC in March, which will include the multiple DLC drops.

Overwatch is the only DLC drop for the month of February, but next month there will be three drops: the "Black Box" map and the "Black Ice" and "Negotiator" special ops missions.

The Modern Warfare 3 DLC system can get pretty confusing, so Activision has provided a content calendar for when each DLC drop will take place.
