Monaco’s heists go down on XBLA on May 10

Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine is taking its heists to Xbox Live Arcade on May 10, according to a tweet from the game's official Twitter account today.

The stealth-action game has received positive reviews of its PC version. Now, after some trouble, the game is ready to hit Xbox 360.

Monaco was originally supposed to launch on the console on April 24 — alongside the Steam release — but Pocketwatch Games delayed it to sort out a last-minute issue.

The developer ended up sending a second patch to Microsoft to resolve another bug, which kicked players out of online matches. Since co-op is a big part of the game's appeal, fixing the problem took immediate priority.

"I think there’s a difference between being upset and being disappointed," creator Andy Schatz told Edge Online. "… If we had released the game in a state where a bug really broke it for four-player matches, people wouldn’t be disappointed, they’d be upset. And rightfully so, because they paid money for a game that doesn’t work. I’d rather have disappointed fans than upset fans."

He added, "This is my bug, and I’m fixing it. The reason I went with the Xbox is because I want people to get the opportunity to get as much couch co-op as possible."
